Methodology for Tracking Development Assistance from India
The paper serves as a proposal, for the Government of India, to develop a mechanism to monitor development flows from India. The idea underpinning this exercise is to create a monitoring and measurement mechanism from public sources on budgetary information which would work towards building greater transparency and accountability of public spending as well provide equal opportunity to researchers, civil society organisations (CSOs) and academics engaged in such work to be able to assess the quality of public expenditure on development cooperation flows.
