Budget Track, Volume 3, Track 2
The second quarter of the financial year 2005-06 witnessed some important developments in terms of legislations and policies at the level of the Union Government. The Monsoon Session of the Parliament was extremely fruitful in this regard. This issue of the Budget Track provides information to facilitate meaningful civil society interventions in the realm of governance and policymaking. The issue takes note of important developments related to Union Budget 2005-06 and crucial policy enactments. While providing critical analysis of the ‘Outcome Budget 2005-06’ with regard to core sectors, it also presents salient features of the Bills enacted during the Monsoon Session.
