Workshop on 'Budget Tracking and Resource Gap Analysis' 19 - 22 February, 2018
As part of the second phase of the JSA-PBI Campaign on Strengthening Public Provisioning of Healthcare in India, we organised a Workshop on Budget Tracking and Resource Gap Analysis. Representatives of JSA and PBI from six States participated. The Workshop intended to develop a methodology for analysis of resource gap at the facility level. The Workshop also discussed the required budget tracking tools and had a brainstorming session on campaign strategies.
As part of the Workshop, a Consultation was also organised on "Union Health Budget 2018-19: Deprived Public health, Over-inflated ‘Health Protection Scheme’, People’s alternatives". The Consultation comprised students, academicians, journalists and activists working on health issues in India.
