Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan and Tribal Sub-Plan
The article traces the trajectory followed by the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) and Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) over the last few years, looking at the allocations under these as well as their implementation among Union government ministries. The article also sites examples from few states revealing the misuse of funds under SCSP and TSP. The author concludes by suggesting a roadmap that should be followed for appropriate implementation of these plan strategies.
