Bihar's Policy and Budgetary Priorities for Transitioning towards Green Economic Recovery
This factsheet examines the policy and budgetary priorities for the state of Bihar, from the lens of Green Economic Recovery following the pandemic-induced slowdown. The research will help develop knowledge resources and recommendations that State Government actors could refer to for incorporating climate mitigation actions under their economic revival measures. It highlights Bihar's current efforts for financing climate change mitigation actions in various sectors such as; power, agriculture, transport, urban development and up-skilling. It identifies policy inputs for long-term transformation towards greening the economic recovery.
