Budgeting for Change - Overview
The 'Budgeting for Change' series presents analyses of public investments for children in India carried out by CBGA, with the support of UNICEF. The series of Briefing Papers presented in this collection are aimed at highlighting the practical challenges that confront India in the implementation of its policies and programmes for addressing different aspects of child rights. It unpacks the links between policies, budget allocations, and utilisation of funds, both at the level of State budgets, for select States, and for major social sector programmes that are meant to address some of the glaring deficits in child well-being in India.
